So with 47 minutes done on the exercise bike this morning it completes week 1 of 30 for Ironman training. Admittedly this mornings bike ride was meant to be out on the roads, but a hangover put pay to that.
A few things learnt from this 1st week. The most important thing to note is that the weight sessions, that were optional, have been dropped. After doing the swim sessions my arms were ready to drop off, so there was little to no chance of lift dumbbells.
So the past week has looked like this:
Swim: 2 Miles, 1hr 51
Cycling: 30.6 Miles, 1hr 51
Run: 6.5 Miles, 1 hr
Total Time: 4hr 42m
